Notes

Images are collected into a single zip archive, accessible through the standard Microsoft Windows interface or with an appropriate decompressor. These stimuli consist of a series of still images taken from five videos of mother-infant interaction. Each still image has been separately rated by naive raters for positive and negative affect, the means of these ratings are supplied in the stimuli key along with descriptions of what raters were specifically asked to rate for each scale. The key also provides color coding for whether each image was a smile, cry, or neutral facial expression based on Facial Action Coding System (FACS) intensities.
